I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics and my Master’s degree in Computer Science at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (University of Applied Sciences) in Gießen, Hesse, Germany. I specialise in Theoretical Computer Science and Bioinformatics, with a focus on algorithms, artificial intelligence and neural networks in biological applications and medical diagnosis. I am currently working as a bioinformatics research assistant at Justus Liebig University in Gießen, while studying for a PhD in pangenomics.
